PIE is a new marketplace for independent film and theatre investment. Tell us roughly how much funding you would look for when we launch, and your production will be among the first to be listed. Here is what we ask and what happens next.
PIE is not yet authorised by the FCA. Registering is an expression of interest only. No money is raised or taken, and you are not committing to anything.
Three things are needed. The rest is optional, and you can add detail later.
Roughly how much funding you would look for through PIE at launch. A range is fine, and you can change it later.
Which kind of production you are thinking of. A name and stage are optional, from an early idea to a show in rehearsal.
If you want to share it, a line or two on what it is and who is making it. Nothing more is needed now.
Your name, email and phone number, so we can come back to you personally.
Scripts, pitch decks and total budgets can be sent to contact@pie-x.co.uk once we reply.
PIE is not yet authorised by the FCA, so we cannot raise money for any production or take investment. What we can do is collect interest from productions and investors, talk to you, and prepare for launch.
Nothing you register is an offer or a commitment, and registered productions are not promoted to investors yet. Read the full risk and regulatory notice.
Once PIE has regulatory approval, registered productions are listed first and can open for funding from investors, with PIE's payment and record-keeping behind each raise. Each production sits in its own company, so investors' stake is tied to your show or film and nothing else.
PIE earns a fee on funds raised and on money paid back out to investors. The exact figures are in the terms you agree before anything goes live.
